Meet the Designer 

Hi, I’m Chanell Swanson, lead designer and owner of Canvas by Design here in Surprise, AZ. I love helping people fall back in love with their homes, whether that means a full remodel or a simple refresh on a budget. I offer in-person and e-design packages, making it easy to create a space that feels like you.

My style leans natural and minimal, but I’m all about mixing color and texture to bring warmth and beauty into each project. I embrace natural elements, incorporating organic materials, greenery, and sustainable products, all harmonized with a soothing color palette. This allows my clients to truly enjoy their homes and never feel restricted by cost because I believe beautiful, functional design is possible at any price point.

 

 When I’m not designing, you’ll find me spending time outside with my family, traveling with my husband, and our boxer, Wrigley—usually with a coffee in hand and a upbeat playlist in the background.
